Beagle

Meet Beagle! This sweet and shy young boy is estimated to be around 11.5 months old and is a mix of Border Collie, Aussie, and Heeler. Beagle was surrendered by his previous owner because he has a tendency to chase and eat poultry – he just can't resist a tasty snack! He's currently very nervous in his new surroundings and can freeze up and shake. He's looking for a patient and loving home that will go at his pace to help him build his confidence. Beagle knows most basic commands and walks well on a leash outdoors, though he can be hesitant around barriers and doorways. Having lived his life outdoors, he is not yet housetrained. He gets along well with other dogs but needs to be in a home without cats or other small animals. He does good with children who respect his personal space.

Ideal Home

Beagle needs a patient and understanding home that will go slow to help him gain his confidence. He needs a home with no cats or other small animals.

Ongoing Health

Beagle is already neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Beagle is not yet housetrained. He has a hard time around barriers and doorways.
