Hassie is a delightful 2-year-old, 41lb bundle of energy and affection. She's the perfect blend of smart, loyal, and happy-to-be-with-her-people, much like a cattle dog, but with a charming twist – she's just as happy being your professional cuddle buddy as she is joining you on an adventure. Hassie's story is one of resilience; she was in a North Texas shelter and running out of time before a rescue gave her a much-deserved second chance. She's already a pro at being a good girl, being crate trained, potty trained, and always ready for hikes, road trips, patio lunches, or any journey life offers. When the day's excitement winds down, she's perfectly content to relax by your side.
Ideal Home
Hassie has natural herding instincts and can get a bit too enthusiastic about herding fast-moving little humans. For this reason, she would be happiest in a home with older children or adults who understand and appreciate the unique traits of her breed. She is also looking for a cat-free home, as cats are a definite "no" for Hassie.
Ongoing Health
Hassie is a healthy girl who has already experienced more change than any dog should.
Training & Support
Hassie is already crate trained and potty trained. She is eager to please and will likely continue to do well with consistent guidance and positive reinforcement.
