Sammy is simply so sweet! We can't get enough of this boy. We're thinking Sammy is somewhere in between part bunny and part couch potato. His little bunny hops are adorable; you may catch him on the basketball court. I'm sure the NBA could use someone like him. I think Sammy is probably happiest with a toy in his mouth. I don't know which he is better at, fetch or tug-of-war? I guess you will just have to find out for yourself. Don't let his athleticism fool you, he would definitely cuddle all day long if you let him. He is friendly with everyone he meets, and he loves doggies of all shapes and sizes. Sammy is just a catch! Ideal Home
Sammy could use a yard to play in or going on a couple of walks each day to get his energy out. He still has all of the puppy love and energy we know all too well, so a yard for him to zoom in is something everyone would prefer! However, he still does well with his older foster siblings that don't love to play as well! Sammy will entertain himself, jumping up onto the couch with a chew toy and watching some TV. So, Sammy could really make himself at home anywhere he goes!

Training & Support
Sammy loves treats, so we see future training being simple for him! In his foster home, they have banana time where Sammy shares and takes turns taking bites from a banana with his siblings. He is extremely patient and waits his turn with ease, sitting attentively. His foster has done a fantastic job of teaching him to wait by the door before his walks. He also does well in his crate and eats in his crate. He does best with rubber toys or durable toys, because let's face it sending stuffing everywhere is just too dang fun!

Transporation
Sammy is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
