A previous injury was evaluated by a vet, and thankfully, amputation was not necessary. He's currently receiving joint supplements and enjoys all the activities a dog his age should! Scrappy is a social butterfly who loves people and thrives when he's the center of attention. He's already mastered commands like "back," "down," and "sit," and is continuing to learn with ongoing obedience and leash training. He enjoys being a cuddle bug on the couch and engaging in energetic play in the yard.

Scrappy would be an excellent companion for families with children who respect his boundaries. He requires an experienced owner who can provide clear rules and boundaries, as he is not suited for first-time dog owners.
