Meet Roa – Our Tiny Toy-Loving Collector!

Roa is an 8-year-old Miniature Pinscher with a big personality packed into a small, adorable body. She’s looking for a very special, patient home that understands her past and is ready to help her continue to blossom. Roa has a history of reacting when she felt scared or uncomfortable, especially when her signals weren't respected. Since coming into our care, we’ve taken everything slow and steady. With clear boundaries, respect for her cues, and thoughtful introductions, Roa is settling in beautifully. She has successfully met new people and continues to show us that when she feels safe, she can truly shine.

What Roa Loves: Toys… and lots of them! Fetch (yes, she will play!), collecting and hoarding her treasures in her kennel, her kennel – it’s her safe haven, burrowing under cozy blankets, and having her person nearby. Her kennel is her comfort zone, and she happily gathers her favorite toys and brings them back to her little den. Once you’re “in,” you’re in — and she will proudly show off her toy collection skills.

Ideal Home

Roa needs an adult-only home, a calm and predictable environment, and an experienced owner who understands canine body language. She requires slow introductions to new people and no other dogs, as she prefers to be the center of attention.

Roa is in good health and has no specific ongoing health conditions to report at this time.

Training & Support

Roa will benefit from continued positive reinforcement and clear boundaries. She is working on building her confidence and learning to trust.
