Elroy Gorgeous Freckled Face Boy

Elroy is a gorgeous boy with a sweet, freckled face, who was found as a stray, looking scared and confused. He was wearing a nice harness and bright orange collar. Upon arrival at the shelter, he was timid, hoping to be reunited with his family. Elroy would wag his tail whenever he saw his harness, a sign of his hopeful spirit. Over time, he began to trust the shelter staff and volunteers. While he can be slow to open up to new people, once he forms a bond, he becomes a deeply loyal companion. Elroy absolutely loves attention and enjoys "talking" to his people. He's patiently waiting for a loving home where he'll never have to worry about being lost again. Ideal Home

Elroy would thrive in a home where he can build trust and receive plenty of affection. He has shown positive interactions with cats and other dogs, and has also been good with children under 8. Interactions with children 8 and up are unknown.

Elroy has been neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Elroy is house-trained. He struggles to open up to new people initially, but with patience and consistent positive interaction, he blossoms into a loyal and affectionate companion.
