Tahoe Trailblazer is a handsome adventurer who thrives on being in the middle of life's exciting moments. Whether it's a hike, a backyard gathering, or a training session, Tahoe is ready to go! He's a smart, social, and loving dog who is eager to become your devoted companion. At approximately 1.5 years old and weighing 57 lbs, Tahoe appears to be a Shepherd mix, though his exact breed and age are best guesses. What's certain is his stunning appearance, unique coat, and athletic presence that's sure to turn heads.
Ideal Home
Tahoe would love an active home where he can be involved in family activities. He's already living harmoniously with a variety of dogs and enjoys visits from children aged 4 and 6, but he should not live with cats. He would also do best with dogs over 25 lbs, as smaller dogs might be overwhelmed by his size and enthusiasm.
Ongoing Health
Tahoe is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. He has also been tested for heartworm and treated if necessary.
Training & Support
Tahoe is house-trained and crate-trained. He can be a little enthusiastic during greetings and may gently jump up to say hello, but this is an expression of excitement and affection, and he responds well to guidance and corrections. He's an intelligent and eager learner who will benefit from continued training, which he will likely find very fun. He already responds well to leash corrections, checks back in with his handlers, and recovers quickly from overstimulation. Consistency and structure will go a long way in helping him thrive.
