Summer

Summer is a 7-year-old bundle of love looking for her forever family! Her world was turned upside down when her previous family lost their housing and she found herself in a scary shelter environment. Thankfully, Miracle Lane Farm Sanctuary stepped in and brought her to a loving foster home where she's beginning to heal and is ready to find her happily ever after.

Summer is a well-behaved and affectionate pup who adores her people. She's fully potty-trained, walks well on a leash, and comes when called. She doesn't bark at strange noises or strangers, making her a calm and comforting companion. Summer loves to play with rope toys and enjoys both short and long walks, always happy to be by your side. She's also a big fan of cheese and is eager to show off her tricks for a tasty reward! While she can sleep in her crate, she'd much prefer to snuggle up with you. Summer is very accepting of new people and has a heart full of love to give.

Ideal Home

Summer would do best in a home with older children and cats. She prefers to be the only dog in the household, as she dislikes sharing attention. Because of her past experiences, she can become sad when left alone, so a home where she won't be left for extended periods would be ideal.

Summer is a healthy and happy pup.

Training & Support

Summer is an exceptionally well-behaved dog! She is fully potty-trained and communicates her needs clearly. She walks nicely on a loose leash and has excellent recall. Her foster family is helping her work through some sadness when left alone due to past abandonment, so continued patience and reassurance will be beneficial.
