What you see is what you get with Jet, and what you get is a gorgeous boy with the perfect side of goofy! His name is Jet Jethro, but his friends call him Jetty, and he will pull you in with those soulful eyes, then immediately show you his goofy side. It's a 1-2 combo that never fails! Jet is estimated to be around 2 years old and weighs about 65 pounds. We don't have his breed or birthday for sure, as he's a rescue, but we're guessing some kind of boutique doodle/lab/setter mix. Whatever he is, he's a striking guy with an honest sparkle of joy in his eyes. Jet is affectionate to his core and people-oriented, treating every new human like a long-lost friend. He leans in for affection, gives kisses freely, and will roll over for a belly rub. He politely rotates through rooms full of people, making sure no one feels left out. He settles nicely indoors, but is always ready for action if there's movement nearby.
Ideal Home
Jet would do best with an active person or household that enjoys movement, visitors, and connection. A busy home with people coming and going would suit him beautifully. Apartment living could be a possibility for the right adopter committed to daily exercise, continued leash training, and mental enrichment. He is a no-cat guy, as his interest when meeting a cat was too strong, and his size could cause chaos if he were to chase one.

Training & Support
Jet's leash skills are a work in progress; he's happy and curious, and gets mixed up about where he wants to go. He responds well to guidance and is a fast learner, but will need consistent practice and a dog-savvy person willing to help him keep his rhythm. He has met other dogs politely on leash and roams calmly with the group when off-leash. He hasn't shown a playful side yet, but we expect that to develop once he settles in. He would do well with a medium-energy dog companion who enjoys some movement and play but won't overwhelm him.

Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pickup in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You can track their journey in real-time and receive photo updates. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
