Toffee

Toffee is a 9-month-old, 40 lb mixed breed, likely a Vizsla mix, with the softest eyes and the sweetest soul. She's a happy, playful, and affectionate girl who loves romping with other dogs, followed by cozy cuddle time. Toffee is dog and cat friendly, house and crate trained, and thrives on routine in a safe home environment. While new environments can initially make her timid, she's made huge improvements with patience and encouragement, and is learning to embrace the adventures the outside world offers.

Ideal Home

Toffee would thrive with a confident, well-adjusted adult dog to show her the ropes. Her ideal family is patient and understanding, willing to continue building her confidence. A home with children aged 10+ and dog-savvy is preferred, and she should not be in a home with an infant or toddler. Toffee is uncomfortable around small dogs and puppies, so a home without them is best.

Ongoing Health

Toffee experiences drooling during car rides but recovers quickly upon arrival.

Training & Support

Toffee was initially fearful of car rides but has undergone desensitization and now willingly enters the car, understanding it leads to adventures. Continued patience and encouragement will help her further build her confidence.
