Navajo, a 6.5-year-old, neutered male Pitbull mix weighing about 75 pounds, is a sweet, affectionate, and easygoing pup ready to bring the perfect balance of playful energy and relaxed companionship to your life. He's just as happy joining you for a daily walk as he is curling up nearby for a cozy evening at home. Navajo enjoys playing with other dogs, particularly in one-on-one or small group settings, and he's usually good at reading social cues, though he may occasionally need gentle redirection. He walks politely on leash, generally without reacting to other dogs or squirrels, though he might pull a bit at the start when excited. Navajo is fully house-trained and crate-trained, and he can be left loose in the house without issue, showing no signs of separation anxiety. He's a friendly greeter to people and has done well around children. He loves toys and is a champion cuddler who enjoys being close to his people. He's also an excellent car rider, a staff favorite at the vet, has no issues with stairs, and has a knack for finding cozy and unusual nap spots. Navajo has shown no resource guarding with food, treats, toys, or people.
Ideal Home
Navajo would thrive in a stable, moderately active home that enjoys daily walks, occasional outings, and lots of affection. He doesn't need an ultra-active lifestyle but would benefit from consistent exercise, love, and companionship. He could do well as an only dog or with a compatible canine friend. Navajo would do best in a cat-free home.
Ongoing Health
Navajo's remaining teeth are healthy and he still happily chews his favorite bones.
Training & Support
Navajo has made great progress with his doggy manners at daycare. He may occasionally need gentle redirection if he gets too excited during play. He can pull a little at the start of walks when he's excited, but becomes a pleasant walking partner once settled.
