Meet Four D Danes. We have owned. bred and shown Great Danes since 1981. Our objective is to breed Danes that are as close to the standard as possible and show our Danes in the confirmation ring, competing for their conformation championship. We keep show prospects for ourselves and will place show prospects in show homes when available. Some puppies do not qualify to be shown and are available to companion homes. We health test our dogs to work toward minimizing health issues in the offspring. We sell our pups with a contract that outlines the basics of caring for a Great Dane, documents our health guarantee, and states that we do not want any of our pups to end up in a rescue or SPCA. If the pup cannot be kept, they must be returned to us it cannot be resold. We will only place a pup in a new home if we believe the new home is prepared to care for that pup for their whole life. AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders. We encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask the breeder. Make sure you are not only choosing the right breed for you, but also that you’re getting it from the right individual.
