About Yogi Bear

Yogi might be the quiet, devoted companion you've been searching for! This 5-year-old Lab/Shar-Pei mix, weighing around 63 pounds, has a wonderfully soft chestnut coat and a sweet, slightly wrinkled face that always seems to be smiling. Yogi has a calm and grounded presence, forming strong bonds with her people. She thrives on simply being near you, offering her quiet company.

Yogi is friendly and loving, though she may need a few moments to warm up to new faces. Once comfortable, she's affectionate, fun, and incredibly easy to be around, settling into a new routine without any fuss. She's a low-maintenance and adaptable girl who enjoys her daily walks and playtime, but is equally content relaxing at home. Yogi has a moderate energy level and would be happy in a house or an apartment, as long as she gets regular exercise.

Ideal Home

Yogi would do best in a home with older, respectful children. She prefers calmer, easygoing dogs and enjoys more one-on-one interactions over busy group settings. She can also thrive as an only dog. She has been exposed to cats and did well with them.

Ongoing Health

Yogi is currently heartworm positive and has started treatment. She will need a committed adopter who can continue her care. She is otherwise a healthy, wonderful dog.

Training & Support

Yogi is fully potty trained and crate trained, settling in easily. She walks well on a leash with only occasional reminders.
