Matilda is a sweet wire-haired terrier mix, around 3 years old, who is ready to find her forever family. She bonds quickly with her people and loves being close, cuddling, and soaking up all the affection she can get. Matilda has experience with kids, cats, and dogs of all sizes. She enjoys playing with other dogs but does best with those who understand respectful boundaries, as she can become overwhelmed if they are too boisterous. At night, Matilda sleeps perfectly in her crate. During the day, she may get a little vocal if she would rather be near her people. She is a loving girl who is ready to be smothered with love, and she will happily return it right back.

Matilda would thrive in a home where someone is around often, such as someone who works from home or spends a lot of time at home during the day.

Matilda may get vocal during the day if she wants to be near her people. She is crate trained and sleeps well in her crate at night.
