JJ

JJ is a sweet, goofy, gangly puppy with the body of a German Shepherd, the sweetness of a Pittie, and the face of a Vizsla. She loves to make her humans happy and has embraced the winter weather, enjoying laying in the snow and chewing on sticks. JJ is a good girl who communicates her needs by whining or seeking attention when she needs to go outside. She doesn't mind her kennel but prefers to be with her people. With a chew toy, she can settle down for a nap. JJ can be a little nervous around new people, especially larger men, but with reassurance and positive experiences, she is learning to trust and love them. She also benefits from the company of a confident resident dog. JJ absolutely loves to play and romp outside, her zoomies are hilarious, and she shows her pride with high-stepping like a horse.

Ideal Home

JJ would thrive in a home that can help build her confidence. While she is learning to like the big, hairy guy in her foster home, she may be nervous around unfamiliar men. She enjoys the company of confident resident dogs.
