About Dahlia Daisy Flower the MINI Lab

Dahlia Daisy Flower is an 11-month-old "itty bitty labbie pittie" who is as delicate and beautiful as her namesake flower, and oh-so-sweet! She currently weighs 35 pounds and is expected to top out around 40-45 pounds. Dahlia is a delightful pup who loves to start her day with a potty break and some enthusiastic zoomies, followed by a brisk walk where her leash skills are nearly perfect, unless a squirrel catches her eye! She's an adventurous soul who enjoys hitting trails and parks, making friends with everyone she meets, including other dogs. While she can be a little shy with new people, she warms up quickly and is a true sweetheart. Dahlia also has a love for water and would make an amazing camping companion. She's content to snooze by your side while you work and enjoys playtime with the other dogs in her foster home. Her favorite pastimes include chasing pine cones and carrying around big sticks!

Ideal Home

Dahlia would be happiest with another playful dog in the home or with access to regular doggy daycare, as she thrives on canine companionship. She could do well in a dog-friendly apartment or condo, provided she gets plenty of exercise. While she hasn't been tested with cats or children, we believe she would do well with respectful children aged 8 and up who will engage in play with her.

Ongoing Health

Dahlia is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, and flea prevention. She receives a 12-month heartworm preventative injection.

Training & Support

Dahlia is crate and house-trained. She may cry in her crate initially when left alone, but she does settle in time. This is something to consider for homes with shared walls. It's expected that her crate routine will need to be re-established in her new home, but eventually, she would love to share a bed with her humans.
