Charley, an adult male Shepherd mix, is a truly mellow guy with a friendly and social disposition. He was adopted as a puppy in 2023 and is now looking for his forever home. Charley enjoys lounging around but also loves his walks around the neighborhood. He's great on leash, good with other dogs and people, and has a mellow energy that makes him a pleasure to be around. He's also easily food-motivated, which can be a great asset! Charley enjoys the outdoors and does well off-leash on trails. He's safe with even little children, as he's lived in a home with a daycare. While he hasn't been around cats in his current home, he shows good impulse control with neighborhood kitties and squirrels, responding well to a "leave it" command.

Ideal Home

Charley would thrive in a home where he has opportunities to play or use sniff spots, and a yard would be a wonderful addition for his overall health and well-being.

Charley is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.

Training & Support

Charley is a good boy who listens well, especially when treats are involved! His "leave it" command is already solid for small critters.
