Hooey is a handsome 3-year-old, 22-pound male Chihuahua/German Pinscher mix who is the perfect blend of playful and cuddly! He absolutely loves life and his people even more. Whether he's enjoying a car ride, zooming around the yard, playing with his doggy friends, or curled up in your lap at the end of the day, Hooey is happiest when he's close to his family. He grew up in a rural home with plenty of space to run and explore, but his family is moving to a home without a yard and knows he deserves a place where he can truly thrive again. Hooey is crate trained, house trained, and will let you know when he needs to go out by whining or crying in his crate. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats, and enjoys meeting new people and children, though he may be a little shy at first. Hooey has an energetic side and would love a yard or an active family, but he's also incredibly affectionate and wants to be close to his humans.
