Oskar

Oskar is an 8-year-old, 15-pound smooth Dachshund who is looking for a furever home where he can be your professional snuggler. He loves most humans, but he's not a fan of small children. Oskar enjoys napping under covers, soaking up the sun on the deck, watching TV, and charming his way into your snacks with his big brown eyes. He gets along well with other dogs, but he'd prefer to avoid overly boisterous or "alpha" types. Oskar had some past injuries but has fully recovered and is ready for a fresh start.

Ideal Home

Oskar would be best suited for a home without small children. He would also prefer to avoid very large or hyper-happy dogs. He's a fan of apartment living, as long as you're willing to carry him up and down any stairs!

Ongoing Health

Oskar is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines, and dewormed. He is heartworm negative and maintained on preventatives. He recently had a dental cleaning, and his teeth are in great shape.

Training & Support

Oskar is housetrained and leash-trained. He's okay with crates but much prefers to be with his people and would love to snuggle in your bed at night.
