Missy

Missy is a four-year-old, full-blooded American Pit Bull Terrier with a whole lot of spunk and love to give! She's a wonderful gal who enjoys life and has plenty of energy to share. Missy would thrive with an experienced owner who understands the breed's energy levels and specific needs.

Ideal Home

Missy would do best in a home with a fenced-in yard. She adores children and affection but due to her energetic nature, she's most suited for a home with older children (12 and up) or no children. Missy is a protector and will bark at strangers, but she's all bark and no bite, making her a great guard dog! She also loves cats, but perhaps a little too much, as she tends to pester them. To ensure everyone's peace, she would do best in a home without cats.

Ongoing Health

Missy is currently healthy and has no known health issues.

Training & Support

Missy is house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained. She is wonderful with all other dogs, male and female.

Transportation

Missy is currently at our rescue facility and would benefit greatly from a foster home in Illinois. We offer transport to the Elgin, Illinois area twice a month, every two weeks.
