Meet Yeti!
Yeti is a 2-year-old Great Pyrenees mix with a big heart and an even bigger personality. At 82 pounds, he's a little underweight and could stand to gain a few pounds, but what he lacks in weight he more than makes up for in charm. We believe Yeti likely spent much of his life outdoors. Since coming into foster care, he's been learning that the good life includes air conditioning, comfy places to nap, and humans who adore him. He has already mastered using the doggy door to come and go from his climate-controlled dog room and is becoming more comfortable spending time inside the house. These days he'll happily follow his foster into the kitchen, then settle down nearby for a nap. Yeti is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and bonds quickly with his people. He loves attention and will gladly soak up all the pets and affection you're willing to give. He's also playful and downright hilarious, always ready for a game of chase or a little fun around the yard. He walks well on a leash, is cat-friendly, and gets along great with female dogs. He has not yet been introduced to male dogs. Despite being surrendered for allegedly digging holes, Yeti has proven himself to be a loving, loyal companion who simply wants a family to call his own. If you're looking for a gentle giant who will make you laugh, follow you around like a shadow, and love you with his whole heart, Yeti may just be your perfect match.
