Meet Brody – a 5-year-old, 65-pound neutered male Cattle Dog/Pitbull mix with the perfect blend of playful energy and a relaxed disposition. He’s a lovable goofball who enjoys both outdoor adventures and cozy cuddle sessions. Brody is happy to participate in holiday fun or themed events, as long as he's with his people.
Ideal Home
Brody does best with friendly, laid-back female dogs and prefers a relaxed playmate. He might be too much for smaller or timid dogs, but he's also content as an only pet if he has ample space to run. A secure backyard is ideal for him to enjoy off-leash play. He is also looking for a home with older, dog-savvy children (8-10+) who are comfortable and respectful around dogs. Brody should not be placed in a home with cats.

Training & Support
Brody is house-trained and crate-trained, and he settles well in his crate when left alone. He walks calmly on a loose leash and enjoys strolls. He is smart and food-motivated, eager to please. While he has made great progress with obedience, he may still get excited around assertive male dogs. Continued calm guidance and positive reinforcement will help him adapt and thrive. Brody would do well with owners experienced with Cattle Dogs, Pitbulls, or similar intelligent breeds. He benefits from daily walks, light adventure, and mentally stimulating activities like scent work, agility, or basic obedience classes.

Transporation
Brody is currently located in Houston, Texas. He is available for transport out of state once his forever family is approved. Please note that transports run every few weeks, and he will be scheduled for the next available transport after approval.
