Sol

Sol is a sweet and playful 8-month-old Labrador mix with a happy, energetic personality. She's social with other dogs and people, approaching strangers with curiosity and confidence. Sol loves to run, jump, and play, especially with her favorite toys. She also enjoys affection and cuddles. Sol has no aggressive behaviors, and while she might be a little cautious in new situations, she's never aggressive and doesn't bite.

Ideal Home

Sol would thrive in an active home with a fenced backyard. She needs a family with a genuine intention to rescue and provide a dog with love, playtime, and guidance. Ideally, her new family will have experience with dog behavior and training or be willing to hire a trainer. High tolerance and patience are essential for this rescued puppy.

Ongoing Health

Sol has received comprehensive veterinary care, including being spayed/neutered, vaccinated (DHPPI, Rabies, Bordetella), dewormed, and microchipped. She has also tested negative for heartworm and 4DX. She is up-to-date on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. She comes with a health certificate and vaccination booklet.

Training & Support

Sol is not house-trained, as is common with many rescued animals. It's crucial to understand that rescued dogs may need an adjustment period due to past experiences. Patience, understanding, and establishing a routine with clear boundaries will help Sol build trust and feel secure in her new home.

Transportation

Sol is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on a cross-country trip. Door-to-door delivery is available through a partnered transport company. Scheduled trips occur 3-4 times a year with a minimum of 15-20 adoptions per trip. The transport fee is $400 USD, which covers the journey from Mexico to your home.
