Astro (27lb)

Astro is a charming 2-year-old Heeler mix who weighs in at about 27 pounds. He was found alone in a rough neighborhood in Texas, but thankfully a Kind Spirits volunteer opened her home and heart to him. Now fully vetted and with a better understanding of his wonderful personality, Astro is ready to find his forever family! He's an eager-to-please pup who is house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained. Astro thrives on positive reinforcement and is highly motivated by food, toys, and treats. He enjoys quiet cuddle time and wants to be your number one companion.

Ideal Home

Astro is looking for a home where he can be your main focus. While he has lived with many dogs, he can occasionally show a bit of a "little man" complex, sometimes nipping at male dogs when competing for treats or attention. He's a smart boy who will do best in an environment where he can shine!

Training & Support

Astro is already house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained. His eagerness to please and high motivation for treats mean he's a joy to train! Just be mindful of his occasional "Napoleon complex" around male dogs and manage treat-related interactions to ensure a smooth experience for everyone.

Transportation

Astro is currently in a foster home in Texas. Out-of-state adopters are welcome, and private transport can be arranged for an additional $200, which includes a health certificate, vet exam, and transportation to your area.
