Aloha is a gentle 2-year-old Cattle Dog/Scottish Terrier mix with the sweetest soul. She’s had quite the journey, after losing her own puppies, she lovingly adopted and nursed two orphaned babies as if they were her own. She has the heart of a mama and so much quiet love to give. Now that her foster siblings have found their homes, it’s finally her turn. She is brave and resilient, growing more confident every day and starting to show her goofy side. Aloha is dog and cat friendly and loves the company of other dogs. Having a calm dog friend really helps her feel safe. She walks beautifully on leash and absolutely loves going on sniff-filled adventures at the park. Aloha is perfectly content lounging on a cozy bed with a chew while you’re away. No separation anxiety here! She is crate trained and spayed, and thrives on routine—it helps her feel safe and secure. She can be shy at first and appreciates slow, gentle introductions. While she’s not a big cuddle bug, she truly enjoys being in the same room as her people and quietly sharing space together.
Ideal Home
Aloha would thrive in a calm home with a yard. She would especially love a friendly dog companion to help continue building her confidence. She’d do great with someone patient who understands that trust is built over time, and once you earn hers, you’ll start to see her sweet, goofy personality shine through. Aloha prefers having access to a yard.
