Nona is a delightful 1-year-old, 50 lb spayed female Staffie mix with a personality that's truly starting to shine. She's described as being in her "older puppy era," exuding a playful spark while growing more confident and soaking in the world. Nona has a sturdy, low-rider build, often described as being "built like a tank," and she loves to play and sprint with her foster siblings. She's sweet, affectionate, and loves to be near her people, greeting them with enthusiasm. Nona enjoys meeting new friends and has been practicing her socialization skills. She's clever, motivated by toys and treats, and has recently mastered "sit." She enjoys walks and adventures, is fully crate trained, and is doing well with potty training. Nona can be a bit of a shy watchdog and will alert to unfamiliar sounds or sights.
Ideal Home
Nona would do well in a home with respectful, well-mannered children who understand how to interact with an older puppy. She would also thrive with a confident canine companion who is respectful of personal space and happy to share the spotlight, though she would also be content as the sole pet.

Nona is working on her leash manners. She is fully crate trained and doing great with potty training, but will need a family willing to continue reinforcing her routine. She can be a bit shy around unfamiliar sounds or sights.

Transporation
Nona is currently being fostered in Austin, TX, but she can be transported out of state when matched with an approved adopter. Transport is included in the adoption donation.
