Keri

Keri is a sweet, 5-year-old lady who originally came to us from Kuwait in 2019. She had a tough start in life but was rescued and eventually made her way to us. Keri was adopted in 2020 but sadly lost her home through no fault of her own. She is a well-mannered and generally quiet dog who truly wants to be your one-and-only! Keri is best described as a "ride or die" companion for the right person. She's looking for a social hermit, someone who is content with quiet companionship and enjoys cozy nights in. Keri is happiest when she's by her person's side, and while she tolerates other dogs her size, she's not a fan of small, yippy dogs and would prefer to be the only canine in the household. She is also not a cat enthusiast.

Ideal Home

Keri would thrive in a home with a moderately lazy owner who understands her need for a loving, singular focus. She would prefer to be the only pet in the home.

Ongoing Health

Keri is significantly overweight, with part of this attributed to a thyroid condition. The remainder is due to overfeeding and under-exercising. Her ideal weight is in the mid-40-pound range, and she is currently about 25% over that.

Training & Support

Keri is exceedingly well-mannered and knows many commands. Her owner will need to ensure she receives a walk or two daily and is not overfed to help her reach her ideal weight.
