Meet Opie and Jax, a bonded pair of 7-year-old neutered male Chihuahua mixes who are ready to bring double the love into your home! Opie weighs 18 lbs and is a handsome white and grey, while Jax is a compact 10 lb white and black charmer. These two brothers have been together their entire lives and rely on each other for comfort. Opie can be a bit jealous when Jax gets attention, but their bond is undeniable. They were surrendered due to their previous owner's health decline and are looking for a family that will cherish them.

Ideal Home

Opie and Jax would thrive in a quiet home with a family that can offer them plenty of spoiling, love, and attention. They are great with older, respectful children and would do best in a home without cats. While they are not fond of small children, they are good with other dogs, though they would prefer to avoid large dogs. A securely fenced yard or a commitment to routine leash walks is essential for their happiness.

Opie and Jax are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative.

Training & Support

These boys are house-trained, but they may mark when stressed, so patience during their transition to a new environment is key. Belly bands will be provided to help with this adjustment. They will also howl when first left alone, so an adopter who can manage this will be ideal.
