Kane is a 4-year-old Pit Bull who absolutely adores his people. Once he bonds with you, he is incredibly affectionate, loyal, and happiest when spending time with his favorite humans. He has quickly become completely enamored with his foster parents and loves being part of their daily routine. Kane is completely potty trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and enjoys getting outside with his people. He is simply a joy to have around. He's polite in the house, happy to greet you with a wagging tail, loves soaking up the sunshine, makes the funniest facial expressions, relaxes well while his foster family is at work, and is not destructive. He just wants to be where you are. Laundry? YUP. Yard work? His favorite. Watching TV? He will most likely fall asleep... in your lap! Kane is smart, eager to learn, and highly motivated by positive reinforcement. In just a few short weeks, he has made incredible progress in foster care and continues to grow more confident every day.
Ideal Home
Kane will do best in an adult-only home with someone who has experience working with dogs that need a little extra confidence building. His ideal home will be on the quieter side, with a predictable routine and limited foot traffic. A home where strangers are frequently coming and going or close foot traffic would not be the best fit for him at this time. Kane is not a match for homes with children or cats.
