Creamsicle, a delightful senior girl, comes in the most perfect 40lb package! She's got a low-energy vibe, but she still enjoys a good neighborhood stroll or a little game of fetch. Her leash manners are top-notch, though she can get a bit reactive if other dogs bark at her on walks. Creamsicle knows "sit" (even if she's a bit of a diva about it sometimes!) and "stay." She's also housebroken and crate trained, happily crating herself for naps.

Snuggling with her favorite humans is a must for Creamsicle! On a rainy day, she's your perfect couch companion, ready to cuddle up under a blanket and enjoy a movie. She loves a good bully stick or buffalo cheek roll to keep herself occupied on slower days.

Ideal Home

Creamsicle is good with mature dogs her own size or bigger. She has not been tested with smaller dogs, but she herself is quite petite! She is not a fan of cats and will chase them. She absolutely adores children of all sizes; in fact, we haven’t met a human she doesn’t love. She would be the perfect companion for someone seeking a quiet, loyal friend who truly appreciates everything they are given.

Ongoing Health

Creamsicle has heart disease. We are looking for a special home that can offer her a "forever foster" situation. We will cover her medical expenses for her lifelong condition.

Training & Support

Creamsicle knows "sit" and "stay," though she can be a bit stubborn about performing "sit" on command. She is housebroken and crate trained, and even puts herself in her crate for naps.
