NALA

Nala is a 40-pound sweetheart looking for a forever home where she can be a cherished indoor member of the family, with plenty of opportunities to play outside! She enjoys the company of other dogs and loves to snuggle up for a nap on her favorite people's laps. Nala also feels safe sleeping in her crate at night. She was surrendered by her previous owner who became ill, but her foster family has welcomed her with open arms. Nala is a fast learner, well-behaved, and housebroken, and her favorite way to show affection is by standing up and snuggling with her head on your shoulder. She is good with dogs of all sizes and is also cat-friendly! While Nala can be a bit shy and nervous at first, she quickly warms up and shows her loving and trusting nature.

Ongoing Health

Nala has been diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called Dermatomyositis, which affects her skin. This condition is manageable with medication and does not impact her quality of life. Her medication has greatly improved her condition, and it is easy to maintain with two daily pills.

Nala is housebroken and well-behaved. She may be a bit shy when first meeting new people, but with kindness and patience, she will learn to trust and show her loving personality.
