Meet Skye! This sweet 3-year-old mixed breed has had a tough start, having been dumped near an elementary school and living in the woods for months. Thankfully, some kind people stepped in when they realized she was pregnant, but tragically, an infection meant none of her puppies survived. Now, Skye is in a loving foster home, learning to trust and enjoy life as a dog. She'll need a patient and loving adopter to help her continue to blossom, but we are confident this gentle soul will thrive. We promised Skye the rest of her life would be the best of her life – could you be the one to make that promise come true?

Ideal Home

Skye is looking for a home that can provide her with extra love and TLC as she continues to decompress and learn what it's like to be a cherished pet.

Ongoing Health

Skye experienced an infection following her pregnancy, but is now recovering and receiving care.

Training & Support

Skye is currently learning to be a "real dog" in her foster home and is soaking up all the love. She may need some continued patience as she adjusts to her new life.
