Thor is still looking for his forever family! This sweet, loving, and loyal boy is approximately 1.5 years old and weighs around 58 lbs. Thor has passed his kid testing and absolutely adores playing fetch with balls and sticks. While he tolerated crate testing, he much prefers the company of his dog friends in the play yard. Thor plays a bit rough, so he'd do best with a canine companion who can keep up!
Thor was rescued from the Del Norte pound and has enjoyed some fun outings to the river and beach. He's a total snuggle bug who believes he's a lap dog and is very attached to his people, always making sure you're close by. Thor is not a food-guarder and politely waits for his meals. He's enjoyed the dog park with other dogs and is generally well-behaved around other animals and children. He can be a little protective of his person, especially with new male acquaintances. Thor also loves car rides and would make an excellent outdoor adventure buddy!
Ideal Home
Thor would love a home with a doggie friend who enjoys rough play. He does need to be reminded not to jump on people.
Ongoing Health
Thor is microchipped, neutered, and up-to-date on all his vaccinations, including Parvo, Distemper, Hepatitis, Influenza, Lepto, Kennel Cough, and Rabies. He has also tested negative for heartworm and is on flea/tick and deworming prevention.
Training & Support
Thor listens well when corrected and is a pro at using his crate. He needs gentle reminders about not jumping on people.
