Jasper Junco and Bella Bluebird are a bonded pair who came to us after being surrendered to a local shelter. These two sweethearts quickly stole our hearts with their gentle nature and deep affection for each other. They have spent their lives together and we are searching for a loving family who will open their hearts and home to both of them, allowing them to continue their journey as best friends.
Jasper is a big, gentle bear of a dog, easygoing and content. He is absolutely delighted to hear praise and enjoys watching the world go by with a wagging tail. Bella, while a bit spunky, is a sweet 11-year-old who enjoys playing with toys and will always be found next to her favorite person for a snuggle. Both dogs are devoted snugglers who simply love being near their people and adore being brushed. They are wonderfully fluffy and ride beautifully in the car. Jasper walks fantastically on a leash, while Bella tends to pull a bit around other dogs, so a harness is recommended for her. They are reinforcing basic commands and have become wonderfully gentle when taking treats. Both have shown to be calm and sweet, even with gentle pets from a toddler.
Ideal Home
A home that can welcome both Jasper and Bella. Bella would thrive in a home that allows her to take it easy and avoid steep stairs or rough play due to weakness in her back legs. Her leash reactivity towards other dogs means a quieter walking routine would suit her well.

Training & Support
Basic commands are being reinforced. Bella may benefit from a harness for walks, especially around other dogs.
