Meet Dutch!
Dutch is a happy, playful pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart. If there's fun to be had, Dutch is ready for it! He loves romping around with other dogs and will happily try to convince cats to join in the fun.
Dutch has plenty of energy and confidence when playing. He holds his own with larger dogs and loves an active play session. When corrected, Dutch responds appropriately. He has shown interest in cats and wants very badly to play with them. Dutch has been wonderful with children and was gentle, never jumped, and showed no signs of aggression. He would likely do well with children of all ages. Dutch has a moderate-to-high energy level and would love a home with a yard where he can safely run and play. He's not an independent wanderer; he prefers staying close to his people. Whether the home is busy and active or a little calmer, Dutch adapts well as long as he's surrounded by love.
Ideal Home
Dutch would thrive in a home with another playful dog who enjoys having a buddy around. A dog that prefers peace and quiet may find Dutch's enthusiasm a bit much. He may do best with dog-savvy cats who are comfortable around active puppies.

Training & Support
Dutch hasn't had much leash experience yet, but he is eager to learn and highly trainable. House training is still a work in progress, and Dutch can be a bit stubborn at times. Consistency and patience will help him continue making progress. He sleeps in a crate at night, usually settling down after a few minutes of protest. He shows no signs of food aggression, happily allows people near his food bowl, and is very food-motivated, making training easier.
