Coffee is a handsome 1-year-old male Labrador Creole mix who weighs approximately 30 lbs. He's a loving, intelligent, and obedient companion who also has a playful side. Coffee is sociable with people of all ages, including children, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats. He enjoys walks, runs, and showering his humans with affection. While he can be a bit shy when first meeting new people, a little attention and kindness will quickly win him over, and he'll be melting into your arms. Coffee was rescued in March 2024 with his six siblings, having been found in a field shortly after birth.
Ideal Home
Coffee would thrive in a home with active families who enjoy outdoor activities and have a fenced backyard. An understanding and patient home with experience in dog behavior and training would be ideal, as he is not yet house-trained and benefits from a calm, consistent environment.
Ongoing Health
Coffee has completed a comprehensive health protocol. This includes being spayed/neutered, receiving DHPPI and Rabies vaccinations, Bordetella vaccination, deworming, and microchipping. He has also tested negative for heartworm and 4DX, and is up-to-date on monthly Nexgard Spectra preventive for fleas, ticks, and heartworm. He comes with a health certificate and vaccination booklet.
Training & Support
Coffee is crate and leash trained. However, he is not currently house-trained, which is common for rescued animals, and will require ongoing patience and consistent training in his new home. His rescue team emphasizes that "perfectly imperfect" is the nature of rescued animals, and their rehabilitation is a primary focus.

Transportation
Coffee is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on our next cross-country transport. Transport is available and the adopter will be responsible for a $400.00 transport fee, which is to be paid prior to the pet's departure. The service will be provided by a transport company, delivering directly to the adopter's home address.
