Nala Mae is a 6-year-old, spayed female Rottweiler mix weighing around 46 pounds. She's a truly special girl, possessing a sweet, gentle, and well-mannered nature that makes her an absolute joy to have around. Nala settles into family life with remarkable ease, offering an abundance of love and companionship. She has an easygoing personality and wonderful manners, making her a delightful presence.
Nala enjoys playtime with other dogs, showing a fun and playful side. She's also perfectly content to relax once the games are over. She's been friendly and respectful when meeting smaller dogs and is adept at reading social cues, knowing when another dog has had enough interaction. Her walks are a pleasure, as she's completely non-reactive and exhibits excellent leash manners.
Nala is a fantastic family dog. She currently lives happily with children ages 6 and 8 and has also interacted positively with a 5-year-old. Her foster describes her as incredibly gentle, patient, and loving with kids, making her a wonderful addition to a home with children of any age.
She is fully house-trained and also does well in her crate. While she may vocalize for a few minutes when first crated or left alone, she quickly settles down. This mild separation anxiety is expected to improve with a consistent routine. Nala is a smart cookie, already knowing several commands and responding beautifully to verbal cues, eager to please and a true joy to live with. She loves playing with balls, enjoys car rides, navigates stairs with ease, and greets everyone with kindness. You'll be charmed by her calm demeanor, her love for car rides, and her overall easygoing nature.

Nala would thrive in a home with a moderate activity level where she can enjoy daily walks and plenty of quality time with her people. While she'd likely enjoy having another friendly dog in the home, it's not a requirement.
