Diva is a beautiful husky mix with striking blue eyes, arriving June 21st! She's about 5 years old and weighs 60 pounds. Diva was left behind with her daughter when their owners moved away and has been the best dog. She does well with other dogs and kennels well, though would be trustworthy outside of the crate. She enjoys lounging on anything soft and loves her indoor time, as well as sunbathing.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• Our application process includes landlord approval and vet checks.
• Please ensure all of your information is current and accurate, including a valid email address and phone numbers. Inaccuracies and/or incomplete data will delay and/or cancel your application.
• We strive to process all applications in a timely manner, but with the high volume of applications we are receiving, it is taking anywhere from 1-3 weeks.
• You may be contacted via email if there are concerns or questions.
• Once all of your information is reviewed and if your application is approved, you will be notified via email.
• Submitting an application and receiving an approval does not guarantee you will be adopting the dog you applied for.
• Once you move to the meet and greet process, you will be contacted by the foster family to further discuss the dog and answer any questions you may have.
• If applicable, a meet and greet will be set up at our adoption center.
• Meet and greets are only set up with approved applicants, and we require all members in the household to be present, as well as any current dogs in the home.
• Meet and greets take place at our adoption center located in New Berlin.
• If you are proceeding with adopting Diva, we will require the dog to have a Martingale collar at the time of adoption to ensure the dog's safety during the transition to a new home.

Current Adoption Fees Are:

• $375+tax for ages 4-7 The adoption fee covers spay/neuter, up to date age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, general deworming, heartworm test (if over 6 months), and a certified veterinary inspection.
• Please be aware, listed dog breeds are based on information provided and cannot be guaranteed.
• Submitting an application for a particular dog does not guarantee that you will be the applicant chosen; we receive several applications for each dog.
• Our adopters are picked based on the needs of the dog and the home we feel will best fit based on your responses to our application, vet information, and landlord requirements.
• Approved applicants not chosen for the dog you applied for will be in active status for a period of six months. We encourage you to watch Wags, Facebook, and our website for upcoming dogs.
• Should you see a dog that interests you, please send us a Facebook message or an email with your approval number.
• Please be patient with us, as we are run strictly by volunteers and many of us work full-time jobs, have families, and also foster dogs. Thank you for considering us for your next furry family member!

Diva is currently in New Berlin and can be transported to approved adopters.
