About Bella, the Girl Who Never Stopped Hoping

Meet Bella, the 1-year-old German Shepherd mix who truly embodies the phrase "hope springs eternal"! Bella's journey began with a heartbreaking abandonment; she was found tied to a post at just one year old, left with a note and no explanation. Despite this difficult start, Bella has blossomed into a bright, affectionate, and spirited girl, ready to find a forever family that will cherish her. She weighs around 55lbs and is a bundle of playful energy and loving cuddles.

Ideal Home

Bella is looking for an active home where she can receive continued training, daily exercise, and plenty of attention from someone who appreciates a smart, goofy, and affectionate Shepherd. Due to her tendency to chase cats, she'll need to be in a home without them.

Ongoing Health

Bella is fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and on heartworm prevention. She is healthy and ready for her fresh start.

Training & Support

Bella is a smart and eager-to-please girl who already knows "sit" and "stay," and is house-trained and crate-trained. She's learning not to jump, as she gets overly excited! She may chew things when bored, so plenty of toys and structured activity will be key to her success. She absolutely adores frozen peanut butter Kongs!
