Raquel

Hi there! I'm Raquel, a bright and hopeful pup with a heart full of love to give. I was part of the famous "Money Heist" litter, and while my beginnings were a bit rough, I've since found my way to safety and am ready for my happily ever after. I can be a little timid at first, needing gentle introductions and patience as I learn to trust. But once I feel secure, I'm a whirlwind of happy wiggles, helicopter tail wags, and enthusiastic barks! I love to play, and my signature move is collapsing onto my back for a sun-drenched belly rub – it's my way of saying I feel safe and loved.

Ideal Home

A home that understands that nervous dogs aren't broken, but simply need the right person to help them bloom. I thrive with slow introductions and appreciate a family who will give me the space to come out of my shell on my own terms. Another dog companion would be wonderful, as they help me gain confidence and understand the world.

Ongoing Health

I had a facial infection in the past, so I can be a little sensitive about my face being touched. Belly rubs, however, are my absolute favorite!

Training & Support

I'm a smart cookie who already knows "sit" and "stay"! I'm very treat-motivated and eager to learn, especially with a gentle and patient hand. Walks can be a bit overwhelming at first, and I might pull or shy away if I'm scared, but consistency and kindness will help me blossom. I also feel secure in my crate, which I enter calmly.
