Fantasma is a sweet boy who, despite his name meaning "ghost" in Spanish, is anything but invisible. His rescue story is unforgettable; he was found abandoned, painfully thin, with missing patches of fur, and clearly unfamiliar with love. Even in his difficult circumstances, he found comfort by staying close to other dogs. Today, Fantasma has transformed into a confident and affectionate companion. He runs and plays with enthusiasm, is a volunteer favorite on walks, and truly enjoys human affection. While he doesn't demand attention, once you notice him, you're sure to fall in love. He's ready for a forever home where he can finally shine.

Transportation

Fantasma is located in Victoria, BC. Approved adopters are matched with flight companions (flight angels) traveling from Puerto Vallarta, and you will meet your new pup at the airport. If a Canadian flight angel is unavailable, especially during summer months, Fantasma may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border. Volunteers have successfully assisted with border hand-offs to ensure adoptions continue to move forward.
