BODI

Bodi is a sensitive and intelligent dog who is learning that the world inside a shelter is very different from the life he previously knew. Having spent his life outdoors, the noise, movement, and unfamiliar routines have understandably been a lot for him at times. When overwhelmed, he has shown that he prefers space and patience while he processes things. The beautiful thing about Bodi, though, is how quickly his softer side appears once he feels safe. With calm handling, treats, and time to decompress, he transforms into an affectionate, wiggly dog who leans hard into pets, asks for belly rubs, and circles back for more attention. Bodi also seems happiest when he can simply explore at his own pace. He enjoys sniffing around outside, walking on leash, and taking in his surroundings without pressure. He even knows Spanish, which adds a little extra charm to an already lovable personality. Over time, he has shown tremendous progress with people, becoming easier to leash, more relaxed outdoors, and much more confident overall. Bodi feels like the kind of dog who will form a very deep bond with the people who give him patience and understanding. Watching a nervous dog realize they are finally safe enough to relax is one of the best things in the world, and Bodi is already showing all the signs that he is ready for that next chapter.

Bodi thrives with patience and understanding. He enjoys exploring at his own pace and is happiest when he can take in his surroundings without pressure.

Ongoing Health

All adopted pets are vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered before leaving the shelter's care.

Training & Support

Bodi has made tremendous progress and is becoming easier to leash, more relaxed outdoors, and more confident overall. All adoptions include support from our adoption team to ensure a smooth transition from the shelter to your home.
