Lucy is a sweet, silly, and oh-so-fun Shepherd mix who is ready to prance her way right into your heart! This medium-sized girl, weighing in at 38 lbs., has a wonderfully goofy smile and a heart full of love to give. She's a smart cookie, already knowing commands like Sit, Down, Stay, Come, and Shake. Lucy has excellent manners and is very gentle when taking treats. She loves her daily walks with her human friends, sunbathing, and chasing after her favorite squeaky toys. Lucy also enjoys patrolling the yard and keeping things in good order! She is a heartworm negative girl and was born on April 7, 2022.

Ideal Home

Lucy lives in a foster home with cats and children and enjoys playing with her kitty friends. She would do best in a home with appreciative cat friends. Lucy requires being the only dog in the home, as she can be reactive when she sees other dogs on walks, though she does walk nicely on a leash.

Ongoing Health

Lucy is heartworm negative. Her adoption fee includes her spay, vaccinations, deworming, and microchip, as well as a free wellness exam.

Training & Support

Lucy knows several commands including Sit, Down, Stay, Come, and Shake, and takes treats very gently. She can be reactive towards other dogs when seen on walks, so continued leash training and positive reinforcement will be beneficial.
