Howie

Howie is an awesome, intelligent, and happy 4-year-old dog who has been in a long-term foster home. He's content to relax on the sofa but also enjoys playtime in the yard and is a huge fan of his toys, often playing with one favorite toy for most of the day. Howie has Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI), a condition where the pancreas doesn't release enough digestive enzymes, affecting nutrient absorption. However, his EPI is well-managed and not difficult to handle.

Ideal Home

Howie would do best in a home without small animals or young children.

Ongoing Health

Howie has Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI). His condition is under control and easy to manage. He is currently fed Pure Balance Grain Free Salmon from Walmart, with enzyme powder mixed in and allowed to soak for 20-30 minutes.

Training & Support

Howie enjoys playtime and his toys. He gets along well with his current housemates.

Howie is currently in a foster home and can be transported to an approved adopter.
