Hi, I'm Benny! I'm a handsome brindle boy who arrived with my brother from Texas. We were separated into foster homes to learn some important life skills. I have the most soulful eyes and my deepest desire is to be loved and feel safe. My markings on my feet and paws look like adorable socks, which is a fitting name for me! My foster mom says I'm a champion cuddler and love to snuggle up when I'm winding down. I currently sleep in my kennel in my foster parents' bedroom. I let them know if I need to go out during the night, but I can usually make it all night long. My favorite bedtime companion is my toy Lambchop! I'm still working on my potty training, but I'm consistently aiming for the potty pad. I adore playing with my foster sister, Olive. She was adopted from Save-A-Bull and treats me like one of her own puppies. She's taught me to be gentle with my chewing, and I absolutely love to run and play with her in the backyard. My foster brother Duncan is older and a bit grumpy, but he's helping me learn boundaries. I'm a sweet puppy who enjoys running and playing with my toys. When I'm tired, I'll ask my foster mom for cuddles and often fall asleep on the couch with her while she works on her computer. I take a few short naps during the day and am usually ready for bed around 9 pm. I haven't been around children or cats, but I'm a gentle boy just looking for a family to love and play with. I do have sharp teeth and am a bit rambunctious at the moment, so toddlers might find playtime a bit challenging. I would love a home with another dog, but I'll be happy in any loving and safe home!
