Dodger JuM is a handsome boy with a heart of gold, looking for an active family to share his adventures! He arrived at the rescue almost three years ago and has been patiently waiting for his forever home. Dodger is a smart and energetic companion who would love a family that enjoys the same activities he does. He enjoys exercising his body but also thrives on mental stimulation, so puzzle toys and weighted backpacks are a great way to keep his brilliant mind engaged. Dodger is good with cats and can be good with other dogs with slow introductions, but he would also be happy as the sole canine companion in a home with a strong leader. He prefers being at home with his people over trips to the dog park. Dodger is ready to shine his golden heart on his new family and embark on hikes, bike rides, runs, and swims!

Ideal Home

Dodger would do best in a home that can provide him with plenty of physical and mental exercise. He enjoys being at home with his family and would also do well as a single dog.

Training & Support

Dodger is house-trained. He needs mental stimulation to prevent him from becoming too strong or having too much stamina. Puzzle toys and weighted backpacks are recommended ways to exercise his brain.
