So you can sleep tight

About Zipper

Zipper is a goofy boy who would be happy to walk a couple of miles with you and then curl up with you for a nap. He's all puppy right now but is well on his way to being a very good boy. He loves his friends so much that quiet time alone in his crate doesn't always fit his vibe, but he's learning to like it more every day. He will do just about anything for food, so he willingly goes in his crate at mealtime and will stay quietly for at least an hour. However, if he knows you are home, he will start to whine to let you know he'd rather be cuddling with you. He will also quietly sleep all day in his crate, but as soon as he hears you unlock the door, he will sing the song of his people to let you know how excited he is that you are home.

Zipper currently lives with two other dogs, a senior big dog and a young small dog, and he does well with both. He is still learning to heed the warnings other dogs give him. He's a very active boy who prefers to spend his time playing with his canine friends. When the other dogs need a rest, he will chew on a toy or shred boxes to help fill the time. He is a solid cuddler when he's ready for a nap and wants you to know he loves you.

Ideal Home

A home where he can get plenty of exercise and playtime would be ideal for Zipper.

Training & Support

Zipper is a quick learner but still has plenty more to learn. He is working on basic manners and has a great "sit." However, he needs to work on not jumping up on people when he gets excited. His "off" command isn't quite up to par yet. He will likely need an adjustment period in a new home but is doing well with potty training.
