LOOK AT THIS SQUISHY BABY-FACED CUTIE!!! Scotty Smalls would win any contest for cuteness, adorableness, best personality, and most gorgeous eyes by a landslide. He's more than just a squishy cutie patootie; he's incredibly dog friendly, loves toys, and is affectionate. Scotty is a pittie mix, approximately 1 year old and weighs 46 lbs. He's a rescue dog, and as with any rescue, his exact breed and age cannot be guaranteed.
Ideal Home
Scotty would thrive in a semi-active home with a backyard. He'd love a playful female dog companion who enjoys wrestling, chase, and silly play. He has done well with kids as young as 5, but would do best in a home with children 12 and up who can match his playful energy and are steadier on their feet. No kitties for this cutie, please!
Ongoing Health
Scotty is up-to-date on vaccinations and has been neutered.
Training & Support
Scotty knows basic commands like "sit" and is eager to please. He is crate trained and is very close to mastering potty training, though he may have occasional accidents. He can pull a bit at the beginning of walks due to excitement, but settles with reminders and continued practice. He needs a consistent routine and slightly more frequent potty breaks.

Scotty is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. This includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
