Bertie

Bertie is a shy but incredibly sweet young pup who's still learning the world isn't so scary. While it might take him a little time to warm up, with patience and love, Bertie's true personality starts to shine, and it's full of heart, energy, and playful charm! This spunky boy lives for squeaky toys and is always up for a game of fetch when he's feeling brave. He does especially well with other dogs and seems to come out of his shell more easily when he's part of a confident pack, especially if humans aren't the center of attention.

Bertie will thrive in a quieter home with patient adopters who understand that building trust takes time. He is not a fit for chaotic or high-traffic environments.

Bertie is house-trained. He loves squeaky toys and playing fetch. He does best when he has other confident dogs around and isn't the sole focus of attention.
