Rey

Rey is a parvo survivor, a fighter, and one of the sweetest little souls looking for her happily ever after. We’re still learning all the little things that make Rey uniquely her, but we do know that she deserves so much more than a kennel — she deserves a family. She is young, full of potential, and looking for someone patient and loving to help her settle in and blossom. Rey has already overcome one of the toughest starts imaginable. Now she just needs a safe place to land and someone to love her through the next chapter.

Ideal Home

Because of the aftercare that comes with parvo recovery, we are looking for very specific homes to keep both these pups and other dogs safe. This includes single-family homes with a private outdoor space. All current pets in the home must be fully vaccinated, and there should be no unvaccinated puppies or young dogs in the home for up to a year. Parvo can live in soil for up to 2 years, and recovering puppies may continue shedding the virus in their feces for 2–3 weeks. During that time, they must remain confined to their direct yard and avoid public dog areas.
